Our cell phone contract (with Verizon Wireless) ends on 7-23-07. They bill us each month on the 22nd. We don’t use the phone any more and I understand that, if we don’t terminate the service, they automatically switch us to “month-to-month” service. If we terminate EARLY, then they charge a fee.

So… if we call them let’s say on 7-20… will they consider that early?

Is a phone call enough, or do we have to do it in writing?

If we call them on 7-23, will they say we owe for another month?

I know these questions seem silly, but I’m so paranoid about cell phone contracts, I’m afraid if we don’t do this exactly right, they are going to find a way to make us pay more.

Anybody have any experience with this?

I think it should not be allowed. Can you imagine sitting next to some chatter box for an hour or more and have to listen to a one sided conversation. That would be torture. If your a busy traveler you need that travel time to rest and maybe a little sleep. These cell phone freaks need to turn their phones off and get a life.

I just bought a new cell phone from verizon, and my old cell phone is also from verizon. I know you can go to verizon and they can transfer your number from the old phone to the new one, but is there a way I can do this myself? I won’t be able to go to verizon anytime soon so if there’s another way I can transfer my number without actually going to verizon, I would REALLY like to know how I can. Thanks!

I have a friend who lives in Lebanon and I always miss her calls when she calls me. My cell phone doesnt allow me call her back for whatever reason. So I need to buy a phone card but the more I look at them the more I am confused. Do I need an international one and will any international one work or do I need a specific kind? I really know nothing about this so any information would be very helpful. I know calling a cell phone is more expensive than a land line, but does that affect the kind of card I need?

I have a feeling my b/f is cheating on me. I’m trying to find evidence. His cell phone is locked. Is there a universal code that unlocks all cell phones or anything I can do to get in? I’d like to find out what numbers he’s been calling and who’s been calling him. Any advice appreciated. Thanks. Oh, and it’s an old Nokia Tracfone if that helps at all.

I have the LG RUMOR and am using a Kingston 2gb microsd. I copied the pictures from my computer to the microsd, and then tried to load it on my cell phone as my screensaver. The cell phone said that there weren’t any pictures on the memory card I just put in. Do I have to change the format of the picture from my computer to cell phone? Thanks.
