Nextels are popular… everybody loves to “click” each other… but it’s rather expensive. I guess Singular would also be considered popular–and less expensive.
I gotta say that it’s probably between Cingular or T-Mobile.
Cingular or T-Mobile, but the thing is the phone is what they care about.
depends where you live in canada its pretty much fido which is now owned by rogers or telus is pretty popular
I live in Nashville, TN, and I think most college students use Verizon. I noticed T-Mobile is centered around that age, with the “Get More Minutes” promotion.
Cingular, definatley after that nextel and then t-mobile
Cingular…easily
From my experience, they absolutely **** not getting service. If you brushed off that commercial about the young lady getting torqued about the dropped call then you had better rethink it because they really get angry. I have seen them in odd positions in odd areas trying to pick up a signal at times.
They love personal ring tones that they can show off. Many love the close personal contact with friends and family. Chat is hot, hot, hot. Songs are in big time. USB compatibility. Easy interfaces. Compactness
If you can provide these things cheaply and effectively then there is a good chance they will buy it. I included the phone options because many cell companies supply the phones.
As an added note of interest, have you watched the younger generation work one of these devices. Watch closely, they like to multi-task and they are really quick. I guess that makes durability an issue with the phones. Also web integration is becoming a must but I think pricing has been too steep for it to take off well.
