My friend.
So far he told me two weird stories about why he uses cell phone only.
1. He said that his uncle didn’t want hm to use the internet so he can’t have a phone line. (Yeah, that’s messed up.)
2. Cell phone is so much cheaper!
He’s weird…

It’s pretty common to have that. With plans in the USA you have so many free minutes (with maybe around a $40 dollar plan a month). It’s not a bad idea to have just a cell phone, but what happens when so many people call you? Your minutes will decrease (unless you have a free weekend/nights plan). I would just keep a cellphone if I had to choose, until I had enough to pay for a landline…

We only use cell phones and have for a few years. I have a cell, when I was married he had one, now my boyfriend has one, my kids have one - who needs a home phone. Now we are available all the time no matte what. I will probably never have a home phone again. With companies not charging you to call people who use the same company I never use my minutes to call those closest to me. What better way. I like to know I can reach my kids anytime anywhere.
